This was such a fun place...very interesting how they made shoes. And what a labor of love! The time it took to make a pair of shoes amazed me!
This elder was so great with the kids...fun & patient and full of awesome stories! One funny moment we had was when he quizzed us all on which shoe was the left and which was the right??? Hmmmm....well, there was no right or left. They switched back and forth each day to help them wear evenly. So glad I have a left and a right, even slippers wear and it just isn't right to wear the left on the right or vice-versa.
